This is an fx concept sequence for within the room of requirements for Deathly Hallows part2, parts of my elements that I created here where directly used in the actual sequence which was great to see.

water spell pt1

1st part to the water spell within the room of requirements scene when up against the fiend fire

Pirates

 Again, based off of an earlier concept. This was a matte painting concept that I made for one of the London scenes in Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides.
Tim Hollyman did a great job at almost keeping it exactly as I made it here, for the final matte painting in the film.

here's an example of some of the preliminary stages that I would go through when designing some fx concept on a sequence.
For this particular shot the last frame was then passed onto Andrey to add some character design to Nagini's Death and the release of the Horcrux
