Deathly hallows

A rather quick water spell that Harry casts within the room of requirements scene

here's an example of some of the preliminary stages that I would go through when designing some fx concept on a sequence.
For this particular shot the last frame was then passed onto Andrey to add some character design to Nagini's Death and the release of the Horcrux

paid a short visit to the Hunterian Museum and Archives yesterday for a quick catch up and brief sketch. They have some great things in jars, highly recommend going if you haven't been before
